Words of War — Eric Min, UCLA

Two years leading social, video, and the newsletter for a foundation that funds research on violence and its alternatives. The work was translation: taking dense, serious scholarship and making it land with people outside the academy without flattening it.

"Words of War" is the video series that came out of that — funded research cut into short-form video. This clip is Eric Min of UCLA on what makes a negotiation sincere.

Brand & voice

Created the foundation's social identity — consistent, mission-aligned, and recognisable across platforms.

Built the newsletter from scratch. It is now the primary touchpoint with scholars, researchers, and donors.

Video series

Developed Words of War, turning funded research into short-form video treatments.

Launched the first LinkedIn ad campaign, for the Violence, Politics & Democracy series.

Systems

Streamlined content production — templates, approval flow, and analytics reporting.
